Children

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY MISSION:
At First Alliance Church, the Children’s Ministry theme is “Growing Up Kids God’s Way.” We are committed to the spiritual development of children in a relationship with God and His son Jesus Christ. We teach our children what it means to know and love Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Younger children are taught God loves them and created them and all things around them. Older children are introduced to God and His Word at a deeper level. They are encouraged to read God’s word, pray, memorize scripture, and share their faith in Christ with others. Doing these things will grow their relationship in Christ.

FAMILY MINISTRY MISSION:
Parents and Grandparents are encouraged to spend time at home teaching their children and grandchildren spiritual truths and to continue what was started in Children’s Ministry. Tools are sent home to help them do this. Marriage and child rearing seminars or classes are offered at different times throughout the year.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
We incorporate large group worship and Bible story time with small group time also. Personal relationships are built weekly with teachers.

KIDS’ WORSHIP HOUR
Held during the adult Worship Service, we use monthly virtues to teach God’s truths to elementary students. Activity and play based curriculum are used to teach God’s truths to two and three-year-olds as well as Preschoolers.

GIRLS’ CLUB AND BOYS’ CLUB
These Wednesday programs have boys and girls in separate areas building relationships with Godly men and women. Woodworking, crafts and games along with Bible lessons are included. Relationships with the purpose of sharing Christ and His love are the focus of these programs.

SCOOTERS
Wednesday’s preschool program is play and activity based with a focus on who God is.

VBS
Summer Wednesday program for 4 years to 6th grade includes games, crafts and exciting Bible stories for both boys and girls together. Great place to invite friends to.

SPORTS AND ARTS CAMP
One week in June and one week in July. Offers parents of children ages 6-12 a quality, God-centered camp program to send their children to free of charge.

PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT
Quarterly event that allows parents to drop their children off for a fun night of food, and fun so they can spend time together as couples
